Traditional & contemporary Arts of Morocco

We will begin our day in the Old City Medina where most of the traditional sights, sounds, smells, and flavors of Marrakech take place.

Marrakech offers a shopping heaven for shoppers, interior designers, retailers and treasure hunters.

During the tour, we'll walk through the hidden gems in the Medina where you can admire and purchase authentic art, clothing, sculptures, carpets, home goods, vintage antiques and other rare objects. We will visit a traditional herbalist, where you can shop for argan oil, herbs and spices. I will discuss the history and heritage of everything we encounter during our tour.

After the guided tour through the souks, we will convene at a local cafe for tea/coffee.

The tour will continue in the artisans' workshops in the souk: Blacksmiths, leather work, woodwork artisans, concept stores, Moroccan interior design showrooms, Moroccan Berber tribal rug showroom.
